Ethylvanillin ist ein synthetisches Aroma mit dem charakteristischen Duft und Geschmack von Vanille. Syensqo (vormals Solvay) konnte 1930 erstmals das Ethyl-Vanillin-Molekül synthetisch isolieren.
Das kristalline Pulver ist nicht hygroskopisch, seine Farbe weiß bis gelblich.
Rhodiarome
Das Ethylvanilin ist 3x stärker als das klassische Vanillin und sorgt für eine kräftige Aromatik. Die bevorzugten Produkte sind Dunkle- und Milchschokolade, frische Milchprodukte, sowie Ice-Cream und Kaugummis.
