Passion fruit seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit, by means of the pressing
method, obtaining a filtered oil, crude (unrefined) and without additives.
This emollient agent and skin lighting agent, supports skin barrier function and antioxidant
properties that promotes dry and velvety touch to the skin, elasticity, suppleness and hydration.
Passion Fruit seed oil have linoleic acid (ω-6) between 70-75%, which present at the level of
epidermis lipids, it is used in the synthesis of ceramides in our skin.
Linoleic acid is important for maintaining an intact lipid barrier and its physiological functions in our
skin. Passion fruit oil is rich in vitamin C which helps treating sun spots and to reduce swelling. It is
also a natural relaxant and activates blood circulation, which makes it useful for massages, to reduce
muscular tension and varicose veins. It is also helpful to regulate the amount of oil in the face
dermis.
